Dear Peter:
It is really magnamous of you to admit that you didn't through my email before you
commented. :-) My apologies for being rude and "told you off."
80-20 believes that commitment from a candidate to help the Asian Am. community is
the most important factor. After that comes the consideration of the likelihood that
a candidate will winning. Once a candidate gets into the White House, there is NO chance
whatsoever that he/she will still work with you. He/She iwll have bigger interests -- the affair
of the state. However, if we have a signed promise in your hand as the 80-20 does, then it
counts. In other words, the time to insist on a solid promise from a presidential candidate
is when he/she still needs our help to win the presidential election.
Thanks.
